Our History

1984
Our founders, Dr. Charles Allard and Eugene Pechet, envisioned a bank that would provide unheard of levels of service by responsive, common sense people. A bank headquartered in the West where competitors were sometimes hesitant to lend. Management practices would be nimble, non-bureaucratic, and decision-making would be local. Relationship managers would know the local industries and get local business. Growth was the goal, for both our clients and ourselves.

Now
The same ideals are true today. We've grown from an Alberta-based bank to a financial services organization that offers exceptional service across Canada. We anticipate and meet the needs of our business owner clients, their families and their employees. Most importantly, we've built a business that continues to focus on people, no matter how big our balance sheet becomes.
