EDMONTON, September 19, 2013 – Canadian Western Bank (CWB) has launched its The Greater Interest GIC® campaign for a sixth consecutive year that will support Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) agencies across Western Canada. This unique product offers clients the opportunity to earn a guaranteed return on their investment while prompting a donation from CWB, based on the amount invested. The donation will be directed to the BBBS agency in the community where the investment was made to ensure that local kids receive the benefit.

Following the success of The Greater Interest GIC® over the past number of years, the product has been expanded in 2013 to include multiple investment choices. Clients can now choose from four competitive rates based on terms ranging from 13 to 49 months, depending on what works best for them.
