CWB ranked 28 on the 2021 list of 50 Best Workplaces in Canada

CWB Financial Group is delighted to be recognized as number 28 on this year’s Best Workplaces™ in Canada. Alongside hundreds of participating organizations headquartered in Canada, the honour marks the second straight year that CWB is ranked in the top 50, moving up from number 41 in 2020. The exceptional circumstances of the past year only strengthen CWB’s commitment to advance a culture that puts people first, promotes inclusivity and diverse viewpoints, inspires collaboration and accountability, and fuels our mission to be the best full-service bank for business owners in Canada.

“This outstanding achievement is one I’m proud to share with our over 2,500 employees across Canada,” said Chris Fowler, CWB’s President and CEO. “Our remarkable culture anchored our people through this challenging period.  It not only energised our resilience through the uncertainty of COVID-19, but it also powered our promise to go above and beyond for each other and our clients. This award reflects our collective effort to care for our people, reward teamwork and embrace change.”

The 2021 Best Workplaces™ in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The competition process to be ranked on this list is employee driven, based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results and the remaining one-third from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.
