CWB Financial Group congratulates Chris Fowler, President and Chief Executive Officer, who will be inducted into the Junior Achievement Alberta Business Hall of Fame during the 42nd Annual Gala and Inductee Ceremony. With this commemoration, he joins an esteemed group of laureates and business visionaries from across Alberta.

Chris Fowler started his career with CWB in 1991 in commercial account management and moved into credit risk in 1995. In 2008 he joined CWB’s Executive Team as Executive Vice President, Banking and was appointed President and CEO in 2013, concurrent with his election to the Board of Directors.
Chris sits on the University Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and is currently the Chair of the Finance & Investment Committee. He is also a Director with the Business Council of Alberta and a member of the Business Council of Canada, and Alberta’s Economic Recovery Council. Chris is also a former board member with the Art Gallery of Alberta and a former member of the University of Alberta’s School of Business Advisory Council.

The 2022 gala and ceremony will take place at the Edmonton Convention Centre. Chris Fowler is one of three inductees being honoured at the event for their life achievements and service to the region’s economy, communities, and collective future of Albertans.
